Sunil is a graduate of Commerce with Honours. He is also a graduate of LAW and later took up Postgraduate in Law
He is also a Life-Coach and a qualified HR Trainer. He is the second Asian to be conferred the most prestigious “International Training Fellow” – The highest level of “Trainer” from JCI University, USA.
He is among the first Trainers from India to be conferred the “Lions Certified Instructor” by Lions International. He is also the first Indian to have served as an Instructor at this Pilot global Train the program titled LCIP, launched in Chicago, USA by Lions International.
He serves as the longest serving (2016-2024) Global President of United Federation of Travel Agents Association, popularly known as UFTAA, established 57 years ago with an outreach of over 70 countries.
He Served as the National President of “Travel Agents Association of India”.
For over Eight years, he represents the Travel Agency Industry stakeholders on the most important program of the well-known worldwide entity – IATA, the International Air Transport Authority formed by all the Airlines of the world, in the Passenger Agency Program Global Joint Council, which meets 3 to 4 times every year at Madrid or Geneva, where he debates on behalf of the Stake Holders of the world.
Sunil has addressed several travel & tourism industry seminars and conferences across the world. His in-depth study and perspective of the future industry path has been most apt. He was presented with several industry awards including, most influential leader in Travel and Tourism by NDTV Profit, the Game Changer Award at the Indian Travel Awards Function. He is also the recipient of several awards by the various Governments: authorities and Associations, in different countries, for his contribution to the Travel & Tourism industry.
